Chapter 77: Bewitched

"Now, go!" the Abyssal Pianus commanded. "Yes, master." a Crusadress that was kneeling in front of it replied and stood up. She grasped the hilt of a pulsing black sword tightly and disappeared.

"I'LL MURDER YOU IF YOU DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT TO HER AGAIN!!!" Fielda yelled at Daniel. "Whoa, whoa, whoa!" he stuck out his tongue at her and started running. "WHY YOU INSOLENT LITTLE......" she started chasing him around the house. "Wow." my jaw dropped at the sight of the chaos. The two of them overturned a sofa. Suddenly, Daniel disappeared in a puff of smoke. Fielda's fist immediatly shot to her back. "Ow." his voice said in disbelief and he materialized behind Fielda with a knife, her fist in his face. "Try that on me again and I'll kick your butt so hard you'll wish you were never born." Fielda threatened.

"She broke my heart......" Daniel cried silently. I patted him gently on the back and swept my fist to my back. "Darn." he muttered. "Can't I just see you in that bra again?" he whined. "Yeah, right." I punched his ribs. He disappeared and a scarecrow appeared in his place. "Not again!" I groaned. Alexis opened the door and walked in with a tray of food. "Where's Daniel?" she asked. I spotted a patch of distorted air moving towards her slowly and I jumped into the air, landing my foot on it. "What's up with you?" Alexis asked as he appeared out of thin air and fell to the ground, unconscious. Apparently, I had accidentally kicked his temple. "He keeps wanting to see me in the bra. Can't you take it off!?" I complained. "Even if I tried, I can't. I guess I tied it too tight, sorry." she scratched her head.

"That hurt, you know." Daniel woke up a few hours later. "Mind telling me what's up with you?" I asked sternly. "Well......" he mumbled. "Well what?" I said. "I feel like drinking right now." he admitted. I felt like dropping a rock on his head.

"Tooku hanareteru hodo ni chikaku ni kanjiteru......" the voice of singing echoed from the nearby bar. The voice seemed... surprisingly familiar... We opened the door and walked in. The patrons were all staring at the stage, on which a singer was standing on. "This new singer is great!" someone commented. "Yeah, no kidding! She sounds and looks so beautiful......" another person said dreamily. Daniel sat down at the counter and ordered some wine, but the server was staring at the singer so hard he ignored Daniel. Weird, the singer looked somewhat familiar.

When Daniel turned towards the singer, I thought I saw a flicker in his eye and his jaw fell open. "She's so beautiful......" he stammered. Something in the air didn't feel right. My suspicions were confirmed when I turned to look at the audience. Blue ghost-like entities were floating out of their mouths and flying towards the singer!

Earth dimension......
A boy staring intently at the computer screen in front of him collapsed to the ground, eyes completely blank. There was a picture of a beautiful singer on the screen.

"What the......" I stared at the singer. There was a small stone on her chest sucking in the spirits! "Oh? Hello, Alexis." she smiled at me. "What!? No...... no way......!" I gasped. Her chest bulged every time a spirit flew into the stone. Daniel, luckily hadn't had his spirit sucked out yet and I slapped him. "Wha...?" he came back to his senses. "So someone escaped the Akasha Charm. No matter. I have enough for now." Lynx smiled. A portal appeared in the air behind her and she jumped into it. The portal disappeared when she went in. "Lynx......" I stared into space, aghast.
