Chapter 75: Lynx's Separation The Pianus's eyes flashed white and a block of iron suddenly dropped on my head. "ARGH!" I screamed as my body was almost flattened by it. A few bones cracked and I vomited blood. It suddenly apologized, "My code of honour dictates that attacking a defenseless person is a cowardly act. I am sorry." I raised an eyebrow as a book appeared in front of the Pianus and glasses appeared over its eyes. "Huh?" I was puzzled. Could this be some sort of trick? "King Arthur and the Knight Of The Round Table?" I read the title on the book. "For some odd reason, I am fascinated by this book." the Pianus admitted and a page flipped. I coughed out blood and tried to break free of the water congealed around me. It was too elastic though...... "My apologies, I cannot remove the water until a few hours have passed." the Pianus apologized again and flipped another page. I drummed my fingers and waited. At least it wasn't going to fight me. I started to feel strange though. My skin felt abnormally smoother than usual. When I looked at myself, I found my entire body slippery like an eel and emitting a faint glow. "Get this spirit out of my head! Graah!" the Pianus suddenly roared. A ethereal helmet suddenly rose out of its head and sank back in again. I rubbed my eyes as my wounds slowly started to disappear and my bones reconnected. What was going on!? "STAY IN THERE! I DONT WANT YOU HURTING INNOCENT PEOPLE ANYMORE!" the Pianus shouted and its eyes flashed. Alexis and Lynx were looking terrified. Another iron block appeared above me, but it disappeared. The water disappeared as well and I fell to the ground, quickly summoning the Archaeion. However, I lost my grip and it fell to the ground and disappeared. My hands were just too slippery! "ARGH! DIE! ABYSSAL BUSTER!" the Pianus roared, firing a spear at me. It was somewhat shorter. I rolled aside to dodge it, but I slipped and slid into a wall, bashing my head on it. I massaged the bump and looked at the floor. It was rock, how could I slip? Lynx broke free and looked around for a weapon. Not spotting any, she clenched her hands into fists and ran towards the Pianus. However, she tripped over a rock and started to slide towards it "No!" I shouted as it opened its mouth. Alexis broke free as well and ran towards me. She slipped on the floor too and collided with me. Lynx managed to grab onto a small rock protrusion on the floor to stop herself from sliding any further. "Get out of here! Gateway!" the Pianus hollered at us and a door opened behind me and Alexis. Lynx started to crawl towards it as it started to shrink. I pushed Alexis in and gave Lynx my hand. However, she was too far away and the portal was already the size of a toilet bowl. "Go on! I'll find a way out of here, I promise!" Lynx cried out and swung her foot towards Artemis, kicking her in the face towards the portal. She spun in with a scream of, "LYNX!" as the entrance disappeared. "Now, what do I have to do to make you get me out of here?" Lynx turned to the Pianus, who was vibrating. A sudden burst of darkness enveloped Lynx and the Pianus and she fell to her knees. "Whats...... this......" she croaked. A peach-coloured stone that was pulsing gently appeared in front of her. "This stone will give you a body that is far beautiful beyond anyone's imagination. All you have to do, is put it in between your breasts." the Pianus laughed. Lynx thought about it for a second. "Is there a condition?" she asked. "There are no conditions. Think of it...... as a gift from me." it smiled. Lynx picked up the stone and cupped it in her hands. "A body far beautiful beyond my imagination, huh?" she mumbled and placed it gently on her chest. A pool of wind formed under her feet. |
