Chapter 74: Disadvantageous Battle

"Not fair! I can't move!" I shouted, accidentally inhaling the mysterious water. I was running out of air anyway...... Strangely, nothing happened! "Relinquish the Archaeion." the Dark Dragon ordered. "What!?" I replied in disbelief. "This water will erode any inorganic substance. If you keep the Archaeion here, it'll disappear and if it does, we will disappear along with it." it explained and I nodded. The Archaeion disappeared and I clenched my hands into fists.

"My apologies for the water, my other self took control." the Pianus suddenly said and the water wobbled slightly. "However, it would appear that I cannot remove it now." it sighed. A split personality?

"It would also appear that you are somewhat...... exposed." the Pianus stared at me. When I looked at myself, my clothes had already melted to the point where they were nothing more than strips of cloth. "I sense an abnormality in the water." the Dark Dragon noted.

The water suddenly started to sparkle and ripples appeared. I looked for anything I could use as a weapon, but there was nothing in sight. Strangely, the cavern walls weren't melting and there was a sharp edge poking out of the ground. I wrenched it off and held it like a bat, ready to beat off anything that dared approach me.

"Useless." the Pianus scoffed. Different personality? Suddenly, the water started to flow into our bodies! Pain shot through my body as I charged towards the Pianus.

The Pianus just sat there looking at me and suddenly, I felt like I couldn't move! I floated through the water towards it, paralyzed. "I didn't know this would happen." it admitted. "Shut up! Argh......" I grunted. More pain.
