Chapter 4: The Awakening "Zzzzzzzzz......" Ivan dozed off on his relaxer chair as a female warrior slowly approached from behind. She quietly tied Ivan up, folded his chair up and put it in his bag. She walked towards Henesys dragging Ivan behind him. The bumps on the road woke Ivan up. "You're awake huh?" "Ouch......My head hurts......What the!? Why did you tie me up?" "The nice guy over there told me he'd pay me 100000 mesos if I tied you up and brought you to him. I'm gonna be rich!" "Why does he want me?" "I don't know and I don't care. I just want the money!" The female warrior continued to drag Ivan towards a tree. A mystic door suddenly appeared where she was standing and a male priest jumped out. "Do you have the money?" the female warrior asked. "No, i don't. I forgot to bring it along." the priest replied. "WHAT!? You don't have the money!?" "Yep, I don't." "Why you......" The female warrior drew her sword and prepared to attack the priest. "Oh yeah, I have a present for you." the priest said. "You do?" the warrior asked. "Yes. You get to go in with him! Muahahahaha!" the priest pushed the warrior and Ivan into the door that he had made, sealed it as they went in and walked away laughing. At Someone Else's House...... The female warrior cut the ropes binding Ivan. He shook the ropes off and looked around for his bow, but it was gone along with all his arrows. "Where's my bow and arrows?" Ivan asked. "That priest probably took them." "Oh great......" "Sorry for tying you up like that. I had no idea he would trick me like that." "It's okay......" "Anyway, my name is Alexis. You?" "Ivan." "Nice name." "Thanks." Suddenly a giant orange mushroom came out of the door of a nearby house, yelling, "WHO DARES DISTURB MY SLEEP!?". Alexis screamed and leapt up a nearby rope, only to find it blocked by angry-looking armoured pigs. Ivan, however, was backing away from the giant mushroom. He reached to his back for his bow, grasping nothing. He cursed as the giant mushroom advanced on him. It jumped up all of a sudden, causing an earthquake. Ivan jumped just in time only to get bumped into by the giant mushroom, taking very heavy damage. He quickly swallowed a white potion. All he could do at the moment was try to dodge the earthquakes and hope that someone would come and rescue him. Meanwhile, Alexis was screaming, "HELP!!!" on the rope. The giant mushroom turned its attention to Alexis and produced another earthquake, causing the rope to sway to and fro. Alexis eventually fell off onto the ground and slipped into unconsciousness. Ivan ran to her side and checked her pulse. Luckily she was still alive. Ivan's eyes suddenly lit with a fierce black flame and he looked at the giant mushroom. It stopped as it noticed Ivan's eyes and took one jump back. "Just because you have those eyes doesn't mean that you are strong." the giant mushroom continued its advance. Ivan suddenly let loose a huge roar that rocked the ground way harder than the giant mushroom's earthquake and sprouted great black wings from his back and a long black tail too. The giant mushroom started to back away, edging towards its house. Ivan roared, "HOW DARE YOU HURT A YOUNG GIRL LIKE THAT!? I...WILL...MAKE...YOU...PPPAAAYYY!!!". With that a dark bow that appeared to be made out of mana appeared in his right hand and arrows made out of mana appeared in his left hand. "HURRICANE!!!" Ivan roared and fired hundreds of arrows at the giant mushroom at breakneck speed. "What......What is this......What is this power?" the giant mushroom trembled as the arrows flew towards it. Each and every single one of the arrows hit the giant mushroom's weak spots, dealing massive damage. The giant mushroom was dead before it hit the ground, dropping an Ilbi throwing star. Ivan had now reverted back to his original form. He limped over and picked up the throwing star, saying, "Victory...is.....mine......" and fainted. Keichii, who was watching the battle from a nearby tree, gaped at what Ivan had just did. "Ivan......" he mumbled as he slid down the tree to Ivan and Alexis, carrying the both of them back to Henesys. |
