Chapter 3: Stormy Clouds Ivan strung 2 arrows on his new bow and shot them at a green mushroom from a separate platform so that the green mushroom wouldn't be able to attack him. He was now able to find weak spots easier and with higher accuracy too. As he trained, a stranger wearing a scream costume approached him and said, "Beware, you are being watched.". Ivan turned around and watched him leave, thinking "Huh?". However, he forgot about it after a while and continued training. A pair of eyes was watching him silently as he trained from a bush. Ivan suddenly had a strange feeling that he was being watched and turned to look around. The person that was watching him retreated further back as Ivan scanned his surroundings. The newcomer began charging up his lightning bolts and prepared to attack Ivan with them. Ivan took the attack full force as he was completely unprepared and was thrown back. "Ouch! Who did that!?" "I did." The newcomer stepped out of the bushes, revealing a level 65 I/L Wizard equipped with a Thorns staff. He began charging up his lightning bolts again and attacked Ivan with them. He dodged the bolts but got burned on his left arm in the process. He flinched. "Why are you attacking me!?" "Because my master has ordered me to do so." "Who's your master!?" "That is one name which i cannot disclose." The newcomer, who's name was Marco, continued attacking Ivan as he tried to dodge the lightning bolts. Most of the time he managed to avoid it in time but he got hit quite a few times and was starting to get tired. Marco muttered a few magical words all of a sudden and froze Ivan's feet to the grass and charged up a huge lightning bolt. Ivan was terrified and tried to run away, but he couldnt because his feet were frozen. "Here it comes!" Marco said as he fired the bolt straight towards Ivan's head. Just when he thought it was the end for him, a White Knight jumped into the path and blocked the bolt with his shield. Marco took one look at the White Knight and cursed, he was level 100. Marco immediately teleported away. However, Ivan was considerably weakened. He fainted as the White Knight was walking towards him.Ivan awoke a few hours later in the White Knight's tent, feeling extremely weak. The White Knight looked over and said, "Ah, you're awake." "Uggghhhh......What happened?" "That bully Marco attacked you. You got hit quite a few times and fainted after a while. I carried you here to recover." "Thanks......" "No problem. By the way, my name is Keichii. What's your's?" "Ivan." "I see." Keichii started to bandage Ivan's wounds. "Ouch!" "Sorry." "It's okay." "Ummm......Whats with the tattoo?" Keichii had noticed the dark dragon tattoo. "What tattoo?" "This tattoo." Keichii grabbed a mirror and positioned it behind Ivan. He gaped as he noticed the tattoo. "What the......When did that get there!?" he gasped. Keichii tried to wash it off but the cloth he was trying to wash it with got a hole burnt in the middle of it. "Wow, I guess thats not your everyday run-of-the-mill tattoo." he remarked. Ivan tried rubbing it off and ended up with a scorched finger. "Ouch, here, use this." Keichii handed Ivan an All Cure Potion. As he drank it, the scorch mark disappeared. "Thanks, Keichii." Ivan said. "Oh please, call me Kei." Kei replied. Ivan smiled (F2 expression) and said, "Okay, Kei.". |
