Chapter 25: Intermission Dark Castle...... A crusader clad in black coloured armour walked through the shadowy halls of the Dark Castle, his sword sheathed on his back under his Black Napoleon. As he walked through the halls, he bumped into an extremely-stupid looking assasin walking the opposite way. "Watch where you're going, Josh." the crusader said and walked off. Josh accidentally stumbled onto the foot of a statue of a knight and the foot sank into the ground. "Uhoh." he said and braced himself. A hole opened up in front of the crusader. However, he jumped over it without looking and continued on his way, mumbling, "Seriously, I don't even know why Saevio is keeping him in our group. That guy is one heck of a stupid idiot.". Josh looked at him in awe and ran for his room, thinking, "I'm lucky to be alive." Fielda's house...... Ivan was training for his upcoming battle against Saevio, running a few laps and doing a few push-ups daily. Alexis was honing her sword-fighting skills, training with Keichii. Normally the training usually ended with Alexis being disarmed and Keichii smiling. Alexis was only able to disarm Keichii once or twice daily, usually a lucky one. Roy was training in the nearby mountains on wild boars, looking forward to becoming an Assasin. There was the occasional "Alexis burns her finger while making breakfast" event that always ended with the Siren putting some ice on her finger. Fielda, on the other hand, was revamping the house, adding new items here and there. One day it was an ornamental sword, the other it was a grandfather clock that reminded Ivan of his original world. There was also the time when Fielda accidentally dropped the ornamental sword while cleaning it and it landed on Ivan's foot, who just happened to be walking past. He hopped around the house on one foot, howling in pain for a minute with Fielda chasing him around apologizing. Other than those particular events life was pretty peaceful for them. SonicBoom49's house in Henesys...... The couple were doing their weekly house-cleaning when a Crossbowman burst in the door with a dog after him. They laughed and shooed it away. The Crossbowman hurriedly apologized and left. SonicBoom49 started to wonder what was happening to Ivan then. Quiet14 asked about their whereabouts in Henesys and ended up back at square one. They decided to check out the rest of the island one day. Somewhere in the frozen lands of El Nath...... A Hunter with blue hair wielding an Olympus shot a junior yeti between the eyes and it somehow managed to survive, transforming into a giant yeti. The Hunter cursed and tried to shoot it but the quakes interrupted his aiming frequently, causing him to miss. A F/P Wizard with red hair stepped in laughing and fired a flaming arrow at the giant yeti's rear. The arrow singed its buttocks and it howled in pain. The Hunter quickly finished it off with a few shots to its vital spots. "You know, Lorelei, I could have taken that sucker on myself." the Hunter said. Lorelei chuckled, "Doesn't seem like you were handling it too well, Zephyr." Zephyr sighed and drank from a bottle full of white liquid. "I guess so." he added. Lorelei said, "You need to loosen up a bit. Even since we left the Dark Ten, you've been so serious." Zephyr replied, "It's worrying...... Saevio could come and take our lives anytime. That's why I need to train harder and become stronger to protect you." Lorelei blasted a junior yeti behind Zephyr and said, "You're doing this for me? You're so sweet...... And you might wanna watch your back." Zephyr fired an arrow behind him without looking and heard a satisfying howl of pain from a giant yeti. |
