Chapter 2: Piggy piggy piggy Ivan concentrated his energy into his arrow, firing it at a weak spot on the orange mushroom and killing it. Beside him, Roy was throwing 2 Subi throwing stars at a time towards an orange mushroom. Ivan suddenly noticed an orange mushroom right behind Roy and fired two arrows at it, killing it with the second arrow. "Nice one." Roy said and threw 2 Subi throwing stars at an orange mushroom behind Ivan, killing it. "Same to you." Ivan replied as the 2 continued training. They got tired after a while and went back into Henesys to rest and have a little chat. "I'll log off soon, its getting late. Ivan, you should log off too." "Log off?" "Press the esc button on your keyboard and click quit game." "What esc button?" "Your keyboard doesn't have an esc button?" "What is a keyboard?" "Then......How can you even move?" "I got sucked into my computer when i first started up the game. Other than that, I don't remember anything else about my past." "How is that even possible!?" "I don't really know how it happened myself." "Hmmmmm......I'll go check up on it in the real world. In the meantime, why dont you explore the island? Make sure you don't go near the dungeon though, there are some pretty powerful monsters there. Normally a player would respawn at the nearest town if he or she were killed. But you're really in the game so I don't know what will happen if you die." "Waaaa......" "Okay, I guess I'll see you tomorrow." "Okay......Bye." "Bye, make sure you DON'T die." "I will." Ivan waved as Roy disappeared. Ivan took a look at his surroundings and decided to explore the western area of Henesys. On the way, he saw new monsters and other high level characters. After walking for a while, he stopped to have a rest. "Man, the island sure is huge." He thought and started to wander around. He was suddenly teleported to the Pig Beach. He gaped at the number of monsters and decided he would train there instead. After training on the pigs for a while, another archer dropped down from above and started killing the pigs that Ivan was about to kill. He was the same level as Ivan but was using a crossbow, hence doing higher damage than Ivan. "Get out of the way, noob." "What the......Hey! Stop kill-stealing me!" "I got here first so the map is mine." "Can you please stop kill-stealing me?" "For some reason, i just don't like you, noob." "Stop calling me that! You're just the same level as me!" "But I've been playing this game longer, so that makes you a noob." "I told you, stop calling me that!" "Or what? You'll kill-steal me? Hahahaha!" "Grrrrrrr......" The newcomer, who's name was Yotam, was starting to get on Ivan's nerves. Suddenly, an armoured pig appeared out of nowhere and Yotam accidentally shot an arrow at it. The agitated armoured pig started chasing the two of them around the map. Both fired arrows at it, but to no avail. The arrows merely glanced off the armoured pig's iron armour. "Get off me, you stupid pig!" Yotam yelled and climbed up a rope. The pig decided it would rather go after Ivan than the hard-to-reach Yotam on the rope. It started to chase Ivan around the map. He yelled, "Get away from me!" and started running faster. All the time, Yotam was laughing at him from safety on the rope. Suddenly, Ivan tripped over a rock and fell over. The armoured pig loomed over him menacingly and prepared to stomp on him. He yelled, "NOOOOO!!!" and fired an arrow at the armoured pig. Surprisingly, the arrow exploded on the armoured pig, dispelling all its armour and stunning it. Ivan took the chance to kill it with a double shot. Yotam gaped and thought, "But......A normal archer wouldn't have been able to perform that skill......Thats a hunter skill......" He started to edge towards the exit portal and didn't notice a mob of ribbon pigs behind him. He took one look behind him and screamed, running away as fast as he could. Ivan was looking at his bow with a surprised (F6) expression on his face. He returned to Henesys afterwards, deciding he had had enough of pigs for the day. He went back to the training ground to train on orange mushrooms. He didn't notice that a tattoo of a dark dragon had just appeared on his back under his shirt. Meanwhile, at Athena Pierce's house...... Athena suddenly sensed something as she was looking over a town map. "What was that?" She thought. "It's been a few years since the Dark Hadou first appeared...... No, its not the Dark Hadou...... Could it be? The legendary Dark Dragon? Hmmm......" |
