Chapter 18: Back To MapleStory As Destiny and Strike Freedom clashed in the sky, Ivan and his party were watching, dumbfounded. "Man, Strike Freedom is damn powerful." Roy muttered. Suddenly, Ivan's leg started to ache and he crumpled to the ground. Alexis said, "Whats wrong?" and went to check on his leg. It had no injuries whatsoever. A green mobile suit was suddenly downed behind them. It crashed into the ground while its beam rifle flew towards the group and landed a metre beside them. "We'd better get outta here!" Roy shouted and Ivan casted the Dimensional Jump spell again, "Quantum space heed my words, create a portal to take me and my friends back to MapleStory! Dimensional Jump!". A portal appeared in front of the group, however, it was smaller and could only fit one person. Roy said, "What the......" and looked back. Ivan had collapsed and turned back to normal. "Great." Alexis mumbled and threw Roy into the portal. Roy tumbled in just as the portal closed. The beam rifle earlier was also sucked into the portal. "Oh crap! Ivan!!! Alexis!!!" Roy yelled as he tumbled into the portal. Once inside, he got conked on the head by the beam rifle that was also sucked in earlier and blacked out. He woke up back in MapleStory, surrounded by Keichii, SonicBoom49 and Quiet14. Keichii asked, "Where are Ivan and Alexis? By the way, you didn't have to land on me like that. And whats with this......gun? It hit my sword and broke it again.". He massaged his back and pointed at the beam rifle from earlier, then at his sword, which lay on the ground in a hundred pieces. The beam rifle was lying on the ground innocently. SonicBoom49 ran over and picked it up. He aimed at the sky and pressed the trigger just as Quiet14 shouted, "Dont touch......that.". A beam had been fired out of the rifle. SonicBoom49 was pushed up against a nearby wall by the tremendous recoil, muttering, "Whoah. Don't tell me this is a Gundam's beam rifle.". Roy replied, "Yeah, it is. Alexis and I were trying out Ivan's new Dark Dragon powers, namely a Dimensional Jump. Someone changed our original destination to the Gundam Seed world.". The others gasped and immediatly started bombarding Roy with questions. Back in the Gundam Seed world...... Alexis put Ivan on her back and ran for cover, missiles, bullets and beams landing all around her. She quickly noticed mobile suits defending certain crowded areas and ran into the crowds, following them into shelters. Once inside, a soldier asked her to put Ivan down. She complied and the soldier carried him into the medical room. Alexis went to sit down on a bench and waited for a long time. There were a lot of people in the shelter with her, also waiting. Finally, Ivan walked out of the medical room, dazed. Suddenly there was a bit of an earthquake and a soldier ran in from the exit. He started to shout, "A shuttle just launched!". Another soldier shouted back, "Must be Djibril! Inform Headquarters!". Yet another soldier immediatly went to a nearby terminal. Alexis wondered what was going on as Ivan went to sit down beside her. The sounds outside eventually ceased and the crowd went outside. There was a cheering noise coming from outside as Alexis and Ivan exited the shelter. Alexis tugged at Ivan's sleeve and ran behind a destroyed building. Ivan followed her and she said, "We need to get back.". Ivan nodded and awakened, great black wings and tail bursting out of his back. He muttered, "Dark powers within me, heed your master's awakening call! Level 2 Dark Dragon Form!". His body and tail became longer, his hands and feet turned into claws and his head turned into a dragon's head. Alexis jumped onto him and held on tight. Ivan added, "Quantum space heed my call, create a portal to take us back to MapleStory! Dimensional Jump!". A portal appeared out of thin air in front of them and Ivan jumped in. The tunnel was encased in silver and blue rings again and Ivan increased his speed. Within a few seconds, they were back in MapleStory. "Gerroff me!" a voice said under them. Ivan looked down and spotted a ruffled-looking SonicBoom49 face-down in the grass under him. Ivan apologised, "Sorry." and stepped off SonicBoom49. He got up and brushed off dirt on his face. Keichii, Roy and Quiet14 were beside them, hurriedly stifling laughs. SonicBoom49 retorted, 'Haha, very funny.". The rest of the party immediatly started bombarding Ivan with questions. Ivan noticed the beam rifle behind them and pointed at it, saying, 'Can I have that?". Keichii threw it at him and Ivan muttered an incantation. A safe appeared beside him and opened. He put the beam rifle in and closed the safe, which disappeared into thin air. He fainted after that. Alexis put him on her back and carried him into the nearby potion shop. Keichii muttered, "At least I don't have to carry him this time." and followed her into the shop. |
