Chapter 17: A New Dimension (Credits to Gundam SEED Destiny.) Ivan stepped out of a surprised Athena Pierce's house, sweating all over. "I did it!" he shouted and hugged Alexis. She said, "Nice...... So you're a Hunter now. Guess I'd better hurry up.". Ivan added, "Athena told me that more of my Dark Dragon powers have been unlocked now that I've become a Hunter. Hey, Dark Dragon, lets try them out!" The Dark Dragon replied, "Let's. Still, I can't believe how lucky you are to have a Dark Bishop as your friend's brother." Ivan said, "Yeah...... I'd have been dead for all eternity if Alexis's brother hadn't resurrected me.". Roy jumped out of a nearby tree, saying, "My Twin Dragon was griefed to see that you were dead, he wouldnt stop crying! But he's happy now that you're alive again. Oh by the way, I've told the others. They should be here soon. In the meantime, let's try out your new powers." Ivan replied, "Yeah sure!" The Dark Dragon said, "Lets try out the Dimensional Jump. I wonder what your original world was like. Get ready, you need to be in Dark Dragon form to use the skill." Ivan's great black wings and tail burst out of his back and he muttered, "Dark powers within me, heed your master's awakening call! Level 2 Dark Dragon Form!" and his entire body became longer, his hands and feet became claws and his head changed shape into a dragon's head. However, it was different this time. Ivan's body was longer than usual and his wings were also larger. "I guess this is the new Dark Dragon form huh?" Ivan remarked, motioning for Roy and Alexis to get on his back. The Dark Dragon replied, "With each job advancement, your powers will become stronger. So will your Dark Dragon form.". Ivan said, "Right. I'm beginning the Dimensional Jump spell. Hang on tight! Quantum space heed my words, create a portal to another world! Dimensional Jump!" Roy and Alexis held onto Ivan as a portal appeared in mid-air and he leapt into it. In the dimensional transfer tunnel...... "Wow......" Alexis gaped as the group entered a tunnel that appeared to be encased in gold and blue rings. "Hang on tight! Onwards to the Earth dimension!" Ivan shouted and increased his speed. However, suddenly the tunnel changed and the gold rings changed to silver rings. Ivan mumbled, "What the...... Someone just changed our destination. Hold on! I'll try to go back." and flapped his wings furiously but to no avail. A strong wind was pushing them forward, into a portal shining white. The next second the group was falling downwards towards water. Luckily Ivan regained balance in time and hovered in the air, Roy and Alexis still on his back. Roy said, "This is...... This place looks familiar......". Ivan muttered, "I'll try to look for a safe place to land." but a beam suddenly appeared behind him. It barely missed Ivan's left wing. "What the...... Get down guys!" Ivan shouted as more beams and bullets appeared. Barely managing to dodge all of them, he flew towards the water, skimming the surface. Suddenly, a fighter plane flew down behind him and transformed into a white and orange coloured robot. It aimed a rifle at the group. Roy noticed it and yelled to Ivan, "Fly up!". Ivan complied, the beam emitted from the rifle flying below them. "No way...... A Murasame?" Roy muttered, with no idea what he was talking about. Ivan quickly flew for a nearby island, which was apparently surrounded by fighting robots, fighters and battleships. Nearby, a blue and red coloured robot was fighting a gold coloured one. Roy noticed it and said, "Destiny and Akatsuki!? Hey, Ivan, we're in the Gundam Seed world!". Again, he had no idea what he was talking about. Ivan quickly swooped down, dodging a missile coming after him, only to find more flying towards him. He had no choice but to blow flame at them, detonating the missiles before they hit him. Almost immediatly, more mobile suits started targeting them. Ivan had to dodge a flurry of missiles, beams and bullets intent on taking him down. Suddenly, a beam hit him from behind and he started falling towards the island. Luckily he landed safely on all fours with nothing but a burn on his tail. The group turned to watch the battle between Destiny and Akatsuki with Akatsuki on the losing side and Destiny throwing two daggers at it. Suddenly a red and blue coloured mobile suit with gold joints and wings appeared out of the sky along with a red coloured mobile suit. Roy recognized the two as Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice. Strike Freedom fired two shots at the daggers flying towards Akatsuki, destroying them. Infinite Justice, on the other hand, was flying towards a battleship that Roy recognized as Archangel. |
