Chapter 12: Separation Part 1: Alexis & Roy "IVAN!!!" Alexis yelled as Ivan completely transformed and flew into the dungeon. Suddenly, the sheer wind created by his wings blew the entire party apart. Alexis landed in the rocky cliffs of Perion along with Roy. "Uggghhhh...... That was one heck of a ride......" Roy mumbled. Alexis said, "Yeah, where are the others?" and looked around and noticed that they were in Perion. Roy answered, "We probably got separated from them. Ivan......". Alexis tried to get up but her leg had apparently got twisted when they landed and she sat down again with an, "Ouch!". Roy quickly put her on his back and carried her towards the local potion shop. Part 2: Keichii The injured Keichii had watched in shock as Ivan flew into the dungeon, the sheer wind created by his wings blowing away the rest of the party. Luckily, he landed in the green forests of Ellinia, the trees cushioning his fall. As he tried to get up, he thought, "Ivan...... What have you become?". His foot was hurting because of the debris the pillar had become when the golem flung him into it. He started to limp towards the local potion shop to buy some potions for himself when suddenly a Heaven's Gate flew through the air and landed in front of him. Keichii immediatly recognized it as the sword that he had stuck into the golem and took it, putting it in his sheath. He continued to limp towards the potion shop. Part 3: Quiet14 Quiet14 had been blown away by the sheer force of the wind created by Ivan's wings. She landed in Pig Beach, smack in front of a Bowman using a crossbow and fainted. The Bowman gaped and carried her to a safer area where she could rest. However, she was mumbling, "Ivan......" The Bowman froze at the sound of the word and turned to look after her for a while. Part 4: SonicBoom49 "Ivan!" SonicBoom49 shouted as the wind created by Ivan's wings blew the party apart. He landed in Florina Beach, smack on top of a Fighter just going to train. "Ouch." Both of them muttered. The Fighter said, "Can you get off me please? You're kinda heavy. And your spear is sticking into me.". SonicBoom49 apologized, "Oh, sorry." and got off the Fighter, who brushed sand off his armour and sword as he got up. The Fighter asked, "Anyway, how did you get here?" SonicBoom49 suddenly remembered what had just happened and replied, "My...... party member blew me here. He's the Dark Dragon......". The fighter's face changed into a serious-looking face and asked, "You mean...... the Dark Dragon from the legends?" SonicBoom49 replied, "Yeah." and fainted. The fighter said, "Poor guy." and lay him down on the sand to rest. Part 5: The Demon Dragon "OUTTA MY WAY!!!" the Demon Dragon (Previously Ivan.) roared as he flew through the dungeon caves, all the monsters getting killed by getting blown against the wall in one blow as his wings beat furiously, generating powerful winds. Everyone training in the dungeon was also blown up against the wall by his powerful wind and gaped. "What in the world is that!?" someone said, as Ivan continued into the deep parts of the dungeon. Not even the Drakes deep inside could last against the sheer force of his wind. The Tauromacis and Taurospear even deeper inside were equally defeated as the Demon Dragon flew past. Even the Jr. Balrog in the deepest depths trembled at the sound of his roar and quickly left the area. Most maplers would be surprised to see a Jr. Balrog trembling in Ellinia, surprisingly peaceful, walking towards the ship. The Demon Dragon eventually took up residence in the cave that the Jr. Balrog had just vacated, settling into a deep sleep. Part 6: Ivan (Note: This part took place inside The Demon Dragon's mind) "What's going on? Am i dead?" Ivan wondered as he woke up. Suddenly the Dark Dragon appeared beside him, saying, "You are not dead, young one. The Demon Stone had amplified your powers so much that your body and soul weren't able to handle it. Neither could I. Therefore you lost total control over your own body. Watch." A screen appeared in front of them, showing the view through the Demon Dragon's eyes. The two of them could only watch helplessly as hundreds of maplers and monsters were blown up against the walls, suffering serious damage. Suddenly Ivan felt a great pain in his right hand. Looking at it, he saw that it had turned into black dragonskin. The Dark Dragon added, "Your soul is starting to be absorbed into the Demon Dragon. If you do not break out of it soon, your soul will be consumed and then the transformation will be irreversible. The only way to reverse this transformation is for someone to defeat the Demon Dragon." Ivan was shocked. "But...... Is that even possible? The Demon Dragon is near godly." he said, pointing at the screen. The Dark Dragon sighed and replied, "It is near impossible to defeat such a beast. However, do not give up hope. The fate of the entire world is resting in your hands. The world will be destroyed if the Demon Dragon were to completely awaken. If your mind is strong, you will be able to delay the Demon Dragon's transformation and hope someone will defeat it, for this is merely stage one. However, your body will be destroyed if someone were to defeat you." The Dark Dragon gazed at Ivan. Ivan gaped and replied, "I will gladly give my life to prevent this calamity from happening.". Feeling a sudden pain again, his right arm was now black dragonskin as well. "Hurry up...... Someone, anyone!" Ivan thought. |
