Chapter 11: The Demon Within "Hiyaaah!" Keichii tried to slash at the giant golem, but was easily blocked. Alexis and SonicBoom49 were trying to slash and stab it also, but were dealing very insignificant damage. Roy's Ilbi throwing stars and Quiet14's Mokbi throwing stars were doing next to nothing to the giant golem. Ivan, on the other hand had awakened and was now in Dark Dragon form, biting and slashing at any part of the golem he could get to. Every now and then he landed a hit, only to get knocked back. The two dragons were issuing commands every now and then like, "Get his back, he's off guard." and, "Get back! He's going to use the shockwave!". Roy muttered, "Dragon of Ice and Fire, heed my call. Twin Dragon Form!" and he transformed into the Twin Dragon, blue and red coloured wings along with his tail bursting out of his back, hands and feet turning into claws and growing two heads. He roared and joined Ivan in fighting the golem. However, his attacks weren't doing any good at all. The golem was blocking all their attacks. Suddenly, the Dark Dragon shouted, "Combine your powers! With your combined strength, we might just be able to defeat that beast!" Ivan and Roy retreated while Keichii distracted the golem. "Powers within me, obey my commands and combine with him." Ivan and Roy muttered as a energy ball started forming in the air. As the two focused their powers into it, Keichii was getting tired. Yelling, "Hurry up with that! I can't hold on much longer!" he slashed, hacked and stabbed at the golem. The energy ball was starting to change colour into dark red. Keichii took a hit in the stomach and flew backwards, coughing blood. The golem started to advance on Ivan and Roy, curling it's hands into fists and preparing to send out another shockwave. They finished charging it and fired it straight at the golem's chest. Hitting its target, the ball exploded on the golem, pieces of rubble flying everywhere. However, the golem wasn't dead yet. There was a big crater in its chest where the energy ball had exploded. Keichii quickly got up and rushed towards the crater, his Heaven's Gate pointed straight forward. There was a "Chhhiiing!" noise as the sword pierced through the center of the crater. The golem still wasn't dead though. It picked Keichii up and flung him bodily at a pillar. The pillar collapsed as Keichii hit it, burying him in the rubble. "KEI!!!" Ivan yelled. Opening his mouth, he fired a sudden burst of flame at Keichii's sword, still stuck in the crater. There was a sudden explosion and the golem was blasted to kingdom come, its rubble spraying everywhere. Roy hurriedly went to help Keichii out of the rubble while Ivan flew towards a raised platform on the top of a nearby temple. When he reached it, he found a small pulsating black stone with strange markings on it. "This must be the Demon Stone. I can sense its power." The Dark Dragon said. "Yeah. But how do i use it?" Ivan asked. The Dark Dragon replied, "Swallow it." Ivan took the stone and it started to pulse harder. When he swallowed it it stopped pulsing. However, his veins were suddenly overrun with dark power and his body started to change. He grew 3 extra pairs of claws, 1 more pair of wings, 3 pairs of eyes, his body grew longer, spikes grew all the way down his back, his tail grew longer. His eyes changed colour to completely black and he let out a deafening roar that rocked the whole island. The rest of the party could only watch in horror as Ivan lost control over himself and flew into the dungeon, the wind caused by his wings uprooting many trees and blowing away the rest of the party. |
